Dr. Patel was recently elected to serve on the National Board of Directors for SENG (Supporting Emotional Needs of the Gifted). She also serves on the Board of Directors of Child Connections, LLC an dthe Advisory Board of Directors for My Gifted Girl.
Dr. Patel has received two grants from the Florida Medical Alliance to continue the stress and anxiety programs she introduced at the Pine View School in Sarasota County. She hopes to expand this program to other schools in the future.
